Links not working properly...

I've been in the "Wargamming art" section, and most (if not all) the pictures and/or links are not working.

Dont know if its just the "link owners" that have closed them or if its something else so just thought I'd drop a line for the mods to check that and see if theres something they can do.
(I havent checked other sections, so I dont know if its the same.)

I was looking through the list of forums here and I am wondering, do we need to condense a few of them a make it more streamlined, or perhaps we should add more forums?

What do you think? Is there a forum section that we don't need that could be integrated into another section?

How little you understand McCragge. I'm saddened. I've always based my actions on principle but with an eye to the future. The Creation of an Archive

There must be a way that the posts in the Necromunda Forum can be sayed from destruction.

On other ezboard sites with the same problem I have seen the creation of an Archive Section.

I think the way it works it that the pages under threat, maybe the last 15 or so get moved into a locked section so that they can no longer be posted to, but still be veiwed.

If this is at all with in your power to do, I would be really greatful.

McGragge. Heres a suggestion. how about an audio alert to announce that there are people chatting in the chat room.

Now I havent used it a hell of a lot, but I have noticed that while browsing the board you have to keep popping back to it to see if there is anyone else after joining.

Maybe there is a way already but I dont know it, and if there is fill me in.

Just an idea. Do with it as you will.

This isn't actually a suggestion so much as a request. I was wondering if McCragge (or someone else) could tell me the HTML hex numbers for the blue and gray colors used here at the HotH?

I think that the moveing the 40k up to the top was cool, but i think that the art ov wargaming should be under it - and the catagory with the off topic should be at the end.

I am wanting to redo the graphics for this board, Specifically the ones for "new" messages, "Closed" topics, "New Topic & New Poll" icons. Plus any other graphics you might want.

So my question is, what style or types of graphics should we
do that fits in with the scheme of this message board?

Hi: this has nothing whatsoever to do with the forums, but I thought I might as well say it here: the McCragge studios website has a somewhat inconsistent design: it does not specify a background color, text color, or link color in the "body" tag, which is fine, but it does specify the text color later on in the "font" tag: to be specific, it specifies it as black, after a blue date highlight.

This causes some problems for me, since I've switched my default settings...

visited link color

The "visited link" color on these pages seems to be a very dark green. This makes visited links very hard to read against the black background. Since its not uncommon to want to read thread more than one time (say to read a reply), I often find myself squinting with my nose against the monitor, trying to find a visited link.

How about changing the visited link color to a more putred bronw-green (olive), so its obviously muted but still high-contrast with the bacl...

As most everyone here knows, Sgt Morgan and myself are the board admins. But I was wondering, do you think we need moderators for this message board? If so post your nomination for the new moderator as well as the forum/s that you would want them to moderate. The first five people nominated will be listed in a poll and then voted on. The winner at the end of the month will be our new moderator.
