Does anybody have any suggestions for getting people nice and paranoid (at each other) in a v:tm game? I'm running a game modeled off of Agatha Christies "And Then There Were None". Basically, I give them each a character based on someone from the book, and watch them die slowly and horribly, all while clawing at each others throats. And I changed death orders, etc. to prevent people who read the book from getting an unfair advantage (e.g., my brother.)

I slapped this together for a player, based on something he saw in an episode of Dr. Who. What he described sounded kind of rediculous though, so it and feasibility attempted to meet half way. But the laws of physics snuck up behind the description and punched it in the back of the head hard enough to knock it a little more than half way towards feasibility. In my opinion any way.

I was playing 'FallOut2' on my PC the other day, and I remembered a game I used to play a long time ago, very simaler to fallout, setting-wise. For those ov you that don't know, 'FallOut2' is a Computer RPG loosley baised on 'GURPS*' rules, set in a post-apocolyptic pacific northwest. There is no magic, guns do increadable damage, and Radiation is a real killer. Anyway, I looked up Gamma World on google, and found that WOTC is re-releasing it, in a new setting, a post-apocolyptic pacific...

Realistic RPGs?

So when playing a a fantasy RPG would you rather play a system where its kind of realistic as in you get beat quite a bit, so you actually have to talk your way out of fights where you are outnumbered by a lot, or something like DnD where you can wade through hundreds of monsters with no problems?

Please explain your choice too.

I was wondering if you guys paint minis or have unpainted minis to represent your character when you role-play?

In my group we use minis if we're fighting a big battle, like us vs the ork army. Makes it a lot easier to keep track of everything.

Oh yeah, guess who is starting the Beyond the Mountains of Madness campaign this weekend. That would be me, and the Tyrant. Have any of you seen that campaign? Its over 400 pages long! That will keep us busy for half the summer. Oh yeah, I get to play Call of Cthulhu again. Time for lots of PCs and NPCs to die. Heh heh heh.

(That was a random posting because I'm pumped about role-playing again, its been too smeging long.)
